Caitlin Clark is taking her talents to a different field. She has transitioned from basketball to golf and is set to participate in Annika Sorenstam's Pro-Am tournament.
A month after a fan asking if the Fever player's participation would get extended coverage received a negative response, the Golf Channel decided to give major news to fans trying to watch Clark showcase her talents on the course.
Front Office Sports reporter David Rumsey reported that the tournament will have expanded coverage.
"Next week's LPGA event is expanding its Pro-Am coverage around Caitlin Clark's participation," Rumsey tweeted Friday. "Golf Channel's "Golf Today" will begin 90 min early on Wed. & include live look-ins. Clark will play w/ Nelly Korda & have her warm-up + a mid-round interview live-streamed."
Caitlin Clark will play nine holes each with Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam on Wednesday after attending the Women's Leadership Summit on Tuesday.
