Angel Reese once again led the Chicago Sky’s highly anticipated pre-game entrance. The “Chi Barbie” and her teammates turned the Wintrust Arena tunnel into a catwalk with their usually well-documented fashion hype. Reese, Chennedy Carter, Diamond DeShields, Isabelle Harrison and others showcased their style ahead of their game against the LA Sparks.
Reese is easily the most anticipated player to enter the arena. She didn't disappoint fans who always clamor to get a peek at her pregame outfits. The Sky gladly obliged by releasing the clip of their players’ entrance:
Angel Reese came in with an all-Prada outfit. She had a white mini dress with a 2005 black handbag valued at $1,299 at Vestiaire. The black calf-length boots completed her stylish look. Chicago’s All-Star usually wears Reebok or Chanel but opted for a different brand for her entrance on Friday.
The former LSU star has been going heavy with the “girly-girl” look over the past few games. She has been wearing skirts during that stretch.
The last time she brought out something different was during her pregame walk leading into Chicago’s game against the Indiana Fever on Aug. 30. Reese created a stir when she came in wearing a Dennis Rodman jersey with oversized shorts and boots.
Fans react to Angel Reese and her teammates’ pregame style
The Chicago Sky are on a seven-game losing slump heading into their showdown with the LA Sparks. They are in danger of missing the playoffs if they can’t stop their slide. The Atlanta Dream and the Washington Mystics could overtake them in the standings if they can’t return to winning ways.
Despite the team's losing streak, Sky entrances are still one of the most sought-after in the WNBA. On Friday, fans reacted to Angel Reese and Co. entering the Wintrust Arena:
“That Friday feeling”
One fan noticed the return of Chennedy Carter:
“Chenn looks soo cuteee”
@cozzx1x reacted:
“Thugs, thugs and more thuggery. The Chicago way. Cannot compete. Play The thug role and commit more flagrants. Angry and jealous comes to mind”
Another fan gave Dana Evans her flowers:
“Dana stay putting that s**t on”
Many of the comments ripped the Chicago Sky for their recent performances. Win or lose, they aren’t likely to stop their highly anticipated entrances whether at home or on the road.
A win against the Sparks, though, should be appreciated by Chicago Sky fans who want their team to make the playoffs.
