Newly minted WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson helped the Las Vegas Aces to the next round of the playoffs as they swept the Seattle Storm in their opening-round series on Tuesday at home. She did it while rocking player-exclusive LeBron 21 golden sneakers.

The three-time league MVP was solid for the Aces in Game 2 against the Storm, helping them to an 83-76 victory and securing their spot in the semifinals. She finished with 24 points and 13 rebounds on a steady 52.9% from the floor.

Her play was a standout, much like the golden LeBron 21 shoes she sported, which was specifically designed for the playoffs. The sneakers were complemented with black accents and pink color on the swoosh.

Apart from A'ja Wilson, the Aces got stellar a game from guard Kelsey Plum, who bounced back after a two-point outing in Game 1. She had 29 points on 11-of-15 shooting from the field and 2-of-6 from deep while also grabbing six rebounds and three assists in 34 minutes.

The Aces are now set to face the New York Liberty in the best-of-five semifinal series. It is a rematch of last year's WNBA Finals. The Liberty swept the Atlanta Dream in their own opening-round playoff matchup.

A'ja Wilson bringing A game in WNBA playoffs

Apart from her distinct style, A'ja Wilson has brought her A game to the WNBA playoffs, which has seen the Las Vegas Aces advance to the semifinals.

With their 83-76 win in Game 2 on Tuesday, the Aces completed a sweep of the Seattle Storm in their best-of-three first-round joust.

At the forefront of their dominant showing to date has been Wilson, the newly minted WNBA MVP. In their two games so far in the postseason, the Aces superstar has averaged 22.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks and two assists in 33 minutes.

Despite taking charge once again, Wilson underscored that it is a collective effort that is doing it for them in the postseason, sharing in the post-game interview (via Yahoo Sports!):

"We know what it takes [to win]. We know that we can't let the game slip through our cards, because we've been on the other side of it. We know what that feels like. It's come down to just fitting through, being on the same page and keeping the main thing, the main thing."

A'ja Wilson recently received her third league MVP award in a season that saw her average 26.9 points, 11.9 rebounds, 2.6 blocks, 2.3 assists and 1.8 steals, leading the Aces to a 27-13 record, good for fourth in the standings.
