The New York Liberty are going back to the WNBA Finals. They took care of business beating the defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces, in four games. Following the 76-62 Game 4 win, the Instagram page of the New York team posted a photo of a pair of Timberland boots on the Aces' logo.

Despite the efforts of A'ja Wilson and Kelsey Plum, the Aces fell short of their goal. Wilson finished with a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double and Plum added 17 points. The Liberty, meanwhile, had great games for their dynamic duo, Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu.
Stewart had a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds. She also had five assists during the game. Ionescu continued to be a problem, as she finished the game with 22 points and seven rebounds.

Fans saw the 2024 MVP share a wholesome moment with Stewart, as she processed their playoff loss. Wilson turned to the New York Liberty forward and hugged her on the court.

Wilson shook hands with the other Liberty players and Stewart approached Plum for a hug. Both frontcourt stars were teammates during the 2024 Paris Olympics for Team USA. They played significant roles in the national team winning the gold medal.
The duo battled yet again this postseason following their four-game battle in the 2023 Finals. Before Game 4, Wilson averaged 21.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists. Stewie, on the other hand, had 22.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists.
Ionescu had a message for the Liberty after their win
Ionescu played a significant role in their playoff matchup against the two-time champions. After defeating them, however, she let her New York Liberty teammates know that the job wasn't done. As they gathered for a team huddle, the star guard had a reminder for them.
"We're not done yet," Ionescu told her teammates twice.
Whoever wins between the Connecticut Sun and Minnesota Lynx will be the Liberty's matchup in the 2024 Finals.
