Angel Reese has become one of the leading faces in fashion from the WNBA. The Chicago Sky's star impact on sports and trending vogue is pretty much out in the open, as she continues to be in demand by various fashion outlets.
On the night of the Footwear News Achievement Awards, Reese was the recipient of Style Influencer of the Year. However, it was likely something else was more memorable for her. Reese met the Caribbean Queen, Rihanna herself.
On Thursday, Reese shared a series of snaps on her social media, that included a few pictures with the "Diamonds" singer.
The two dazzled in contrasting outfits. Reese chose to go with a classic black suit and accessorized with a diamond necklace and a bracelet. Rihanna went with a minimalist style with a long-sleeved white gown and accessorized it with a thick necklace.
Reese captioned the post on her Instagram story:
"Unapologetic bad girl Angel."
"Thank you Footwear News Achievement Awards 2024! @footwearnews."
According to Marca.com, while interacting with Rihanna, Reese also expressed her desire to work with the Grammy award-winning singer.
"Let's do it. ... I'm always ready," Rihanna replied.
The 38th FNAA was held in New York City on Wednesday. Apart from the basketball star, other celebrities like Billie Jean King and Emory Jones also graced the red carpet. Reese also posed with American rapper Tobe Nwigwe.
