Los Angeles Sparks forward Rickea Jackson posted a series of pictures on X, sporting a camouflage dress and showcasing her fresh sneakers. Rickea posed for a photo shoot with a basketball and a hoop showing off her 'super cute' shoes from Skechers as she promoted the $9.3 Billion company.

Captioning the post, Jackson said:

"Idk Skechers be cute …"

A Michigan native, Jackson has fitted in seamlessly into the WNBA this season after being drafted by the Los Angeles Sparks as their fourth overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft.

During her first season with the team, the 23-year-old has performed exceptionally. Playing 40 games and starting 35 of them Rickea was inducted into the Rookie Team of the Year for her performances as she she averaged 13.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.

Jackson is also set to appear and play in the inaugural season of 'Unrivaled'. A 3x3 league founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart where multiple WNBA stars including Angel Reese are set to appear and participate this off-season.


Rickea Jackson re-writes history with new shoe deal

Rickea Jackson became the first WNBA athlete to sign a deal with Skechers in July of 2024. This multi-year agreement saw her join the likes of Joel Embiid, Julius Randle, and F Terance Mann as the other basketball players to endorse this brand.

In a report by Boardroom, Jackson spoke about this 'incredible' achievement as the Sparks rookie looks to lead the charge:

"Being the first WNBA player to join the Skechers roster is an incredible feeling, The brand is a rising star in the sports world".

Greg Smith the Vice-President of Product Development and Merchandising for Skechers spoke about Rickea believing in her star power:

"Rickea is not only a rising star in the WNBA with a bright future in the sport, but she also believes in the brand and loves Skechers’ on and off-court product".

The multi-year deal will see Jackson get highlighted across brand campaigns and in-store display imagery while also leading upcoming footwear launches. The Sparks forward's first project with the brand will be a photo shoot for the new SKX Nexus sneaker.
