Rookie phenom Caitlin Clark continued her dominant run with a 28-point, 12-assist performance in Sunday's win over the Dallas Wings. The Indiana Fever secured their fourth-straight victory, topping Dallas 100-93.

Clark helped Indiana to its 17th win of the season, taking down a Fever franchise record in the process. The ROTY frontrunner scored her 595th point to break Tamkia Catchings' record for most points in a season by a rookie in franchise history.

Catchings set the record in 2002 during her Rookie of the Year campaign. By the end of the game, Caitlin Clark extended the record to 617 points, adding another record to her historic rookie resume.

Clark and the Fever fended off Arike Ogunbowale, who also had a historic night with a WNBA record-tying nine-three pointers in her 34-point performance.

Indiana advances to 6-1 in post-All-Star break play with seven games remaining in the WNBA regular season.

Indiana Fever move up in standings led by record-breaking Caitlin Clark

By advancing to 17-16 on the season with their win over Dallas, the Fever broke their tie with the Phoenix Mercury for the sixth seed in the WNBA standings. Caitlin Clark's 28 points helped the Fever, along with another strong performance from Kelsey Mitchell, who finished with 36 points.

The Mercury suffered a 97-79 loss to the Las Vegas Aces, dropping them to 16-17 and a game behind Indiana in the standings. The Fever is rolling at the right time and continues their playoff contention after a strong turnaround following the resumption of the league.

Indiana will now look to advance on the fifth-seeded Seattle Storm, who are 2.5 games ahead in the standings. The Storm have already clinched a playoff berth, but could still fall behind the Fever in the standings if the latter can continue its win streak.

The Fever are looking more and more like a playoff lock, now sitting at 5.5 games ahead of the first team out in the Atlanta Dream. Indiana's playoff berth is imminent barring any dramatic capitulation.
