Satou Sabally has become one of the hottest commodities on the WNBA trade market since Jan. 9, when she announced her decision to not continue with the Dallas Wings next season. While her future is a topic of discussion, Sabally shared stylish selfies of herself on her Instagram story with her 260K followers.
Sabally's story contained three pictures and one video of her outing with a friend, including some car selfies:
The following story featured a video of the former Wings star eating at a restaurant with her friend. The video starts with Sabally showing off the Peruvian dish and expressing her thoughts in the caption:
"10/10 Ceviche."
Satou Sabally also showed off her outfit to her followers. She was wearing a white sleeveless dress with big green polka dots. The German international then pans the camera to her friend who strikes a pose for the WNBA star's followers. Lastly, Satou Sabally shared a picture of her at a candle night dinner with a table full of food and a bottle of wine.
Satou Sabally expresses her feelings about leaving the Dallas Wings
Satou Sabally is one of the best players in the WNBA and she proved it last season with her great individual run at a bottom table team. She averaged 17.9 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game but her efforts were not enough to secure a playoff berth for the Wings.
So on Jan. 9, Sabally announced that she won't be continuing her career at the franchise. This came during a news conference ahead of her debut for the Phantom BC in Naphessa Collier and Breanna Stewart's 3x3 basketball league Unriavled. In the same conference, the former Wings player expressed her thoughts on leaving and free agency.
"I’ve already communicated with Dallas how grateful I am because they’ve made this a home for me for the last (five) years," she said.
"I’m excited for free agency. I’m able to talk to a lot of players out the league because I have not played on a different team yet and I’m excited to get to know them more on a personal level, but also how they approach the game."
As of now, no team has officially made any moves to grab Satou Sabally but we can expect some big names to go after her while she gears up to play in the Unrivaled league.
