The Seattle Storm vs Indiana Fever game had all the basketball action fans were looking for. After three close quarters, the Fever pulled away with a dominant display in the fourth to secure a 92-75 win.
Ezi Magbegor started things off in the first quarter for the Storm with a turnaround jump shot to give them the first lead of the game. After some back-and-forth action, the first quarter proceeded to be a closely contested matchup.
In the second quarter, Ogwumike knocked down two free throws to give her team a six-point lead with 3:56 to go.
However, the Indiana Fever responded with a 9-2 run to give themselves a one-point lead at the 1:44 mark. Despite a late layup by Skylar Diggins-Smith, the Storm entered the break down one point.
Caitlin Clark broke the record for the highest number of assists by a WNBA rookie at the 8:21 mark when she delivered a precise pass to a running Kelsey Mitchell.
Despite the Indiana Fever playing with some edge to start the second half, Seattle didn’t go away and weathered the storm through defensive stops. The Storm regained the lead with 2:28 remaining in the third quarter. However, it didn’t last long as Indiana responded, courtesy of Clark’s floater.
Once the final quarter started, the Caitlin Clark show ensued. An impressive combination of decision-making and offensive buckets helped the Fever pull away from Seattle.
Aside from Clark's production, Kelsey Mitchell and Lexie Hull were electric from beyond the arc, fuelling the Fever's victory over the Seattle Storm.

Despite being fourth in the WNBA standings, Seattle didn't have enough in the tank to overcome the Indiana Fever's 48.4% shooting from 3-point range.
Caitlin Clark started slow but erupted in the second half to power her team to an impressive victory with a 23-point outing (9-of-19 shooting), nine assists and five rebounds.
The Fever's Kelsey Mitchell led all scorers with 27 points (10-of-19 shooting, including 5-of-8 from beyond the arc). Lexie Hull contributed 22 points off the bench (8-of-10 shooting) to lead the team's second unit.
Jewell Loyd was the leading scorer for her squad with 26 points (9-of-22 shooting) and four assists. Nneka Ogwumike was held in check as she only had 14 points (5-of-15 shooting), nine rebounds and four steals.
