The Seattle Storm used a hot-shooting second half to blow out the Indiana Fever at Gainbridge Fieldhouse to win, 103-88 on Thursday. The Storm have now won four in a row after starting the season 1-3. The Fever, meanwhile, have dropped to 1-8 and lost their third game in a row.
It was a competitive game to start and things soon got heated in the second quarter between Caitlin Clark and Victoria Vivians. Both players were called for technical fouls, with Clark getting the third of her career already. The first half ended with the Storm up by just six points.
However, things got ugly real quick for Indiana in the third quarter after Seattle outscored them, 34-18. The Fever tried to make a comeback in the fourth period but it was too big of a lead to overcome.

Jewell Loyd led the way for the Seattle Storm, finishing with 22 points and six assists on 8-for-14 shooting. Skylar Diggins-Smith added 18 points, nine assists and two blocks, while Nneka Ogwumike added 17 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals.
Ezi Magbegor also had a big game with 15 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and four blocks despite being in foul trouble. Furthermore, Jordan Horston scored 12 points off the bench while Dulcy Fankam Mendjadeu and Nika Muhl were the only Storm players unable to make a basket.

NaLyssa Smith had a team-high 23 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocks on 8-for-14 shooting. Caitlin Clark continued her stellar rookie campaign with 20 points, three rebounds and nine assists but also had seven turnovers.
Aliyah Boston added a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds with five assists. Boston needed to be aggressive on offense, as she only took seven shots. Kelsey Mitchell had 14 points, two rebounds and four assists, while Katie Lou Samuelson added 12 points off the bench.
What's next for the Indiana Fever and Seattle Storm?
The Indiana Fever will finish their three-game homestand on Saturday against the Chicago Sky. It's a highly anticipated matchup, as it will be the first game between college superstars Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese in the WNBA. Reese already hyped up the game by taking shots at Clark on social media.
Meanwhile, the Seattle Storm are back at home on Tuesday when they welcome the Phoenix Mercury. They are then on the road again for two games against the defending champions Las Vegas Aces next Friday and the Minnesota Lynx on June 10.
