The Indiana Fever will face the Seattle Storm at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis in a highly anticipated WNBA matchup on Sunday.

The seventh-placed Fever will be desperate for a home victory to solidify their chances of a postseason berth for the first time since 2016.

With just 12 games remaining in their season, Seattle will come into the game in fourth place and will be looking to cover ground on the Minnesota Lynx and Connecticut Sun.

Seattle Storm vs Indiana Fever Starting Lineups and Depth Charts

The Seattle Storm are coming off an 83-81 loss to the Atlanta Dream in their first game back from the break. Despite the slender defeat on Friday, coach Noelle Quinn will likely stick with the same starting five of Jewell Loyd, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Jordan Horston, Nneka Ogwumike, and Ezi Magbegor.

Victoria Vivians, who has started 15 games this season, could be the only surprise in the lineup if Quinn decides to make a change.

The Storm will be without rookie Mackenzie Holmes who will miss the entire season due to a knee injury.

The Fever are coming off an impressive 98-89 win over the Phoenix Mercury. We expect to see Indiana go in with the same starting five that featured against Phoenix on Friday with Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell, NaLyssa Smith, Aliyah Boston, and Katie Lou Samuelson taking the court.

Indiana have no listed injuries going into this game.

The Indiana Fever had a disappointing 1-8 start to the year but have bounced back over the last few months. The team is 11-7 since Jun. 1, and 4-2 in their last six games.

Led by rookie sensation Caitlin Clark, Indiana are on a bit of a run. The Iowa native finished with 29 points, 10 assists, and five rebounds in her first game back and will once again be a key figure as the Fever look to upset the Storm.

The Seattle Storm have been one of the most consistent teams in the WNBA with a 17-9 record. However, they have struggled on the road with a 6-6 record away from home.

Guard Jewell Loyd will be the player to keep an eye on for the Storm. The six-time All-Star currently ranks fifth in the WNBA in terms of points per game (20.2) and leads her roster when it comes to minutes per game.

This will be the fourth encounter between these two teams this season with the Storm winning the previous three games by an average of 9.66 points.
