Aside from being one of the greatest players in WNBA history, Lisa Leslie is also the mother of two children. After seeing a video of a former NBA star's son, she is ready to send hers to train with him.

Among former NBA players with children coming up the pipeline is Gilbert Arenas. His oldest son Alijah is one of the top prospects of the Class of 2026 and his youngest son Aloni is also starting to turn heads.

Only in seventh grade, a clip of Aloni holding his own against high school players has recently made its rounds online. It caught the attention of Lisa Leslie and she praised the former Washington Wizards star for the work he's done with his kids.

"I'm gonna send you my baby soon!" Leslie wrote. "Dang 🔥🔥🔥🔥 The baby boy's looking good mama"

Leslie's son, Michael Lockwood Jr., was born in 2010, one year after her WNBA career ended.

As a Hall of Famer, Leslie is more than equipped to train her children if they choose to pursue basketball. During her 13-year WNBA career, she was an eight-time All-Star, three-time MVP, two-time champion, two-time Finals MVP and two-time Defensive Player of the Year.

Lisa Leslie praises recent Basketball Hall of Fame inductee

Before she gave credit to Gilbert Arenas, Lisa Leslie attended the Hall of Fame induction for the Class of 2024. She was there to support Michael Cooper, who had a massive impact on her career.

During an interview at the ceremony, Leslie opened up on how Cooper wanted her there in person to witness his enshrinement. She made sure she didn't miss his big moment, and she said that she wouldn't be in the Hall if it wasn't for Cooper.

Lisa Leslie also posted on X to congratulate Cooper on his achievement.

"I had to show up for Coop," Leslie said. "Coop's meant so much to me and to the LA Sparks program and to the WNBA as a coach. I wouldn't have my jersey retired, I wouldn't be a Hall of Famer without Michael Cooper."

As a player, Cooper won five championships alongside Magic Johnson on the LA Lakers. He was most known for his defensive prowess and was named Defensive Player of the Year in 1987.

After retiring, Cooper went on to coach in the WNBA. He spent eight years with Leslie and the LA Sparks, winning the title in 2001 and 2002. They nearly pulled off a three-peat but fell to the Detroit Shock in the 2003 WNBA finals.
