"She would be bigger than CC" - WNBA fans predict Paige Bueckers' aura to outclass Caitlin Clark after UConn guard's outfit turns heads at ESPYs

After showing off her impressive game at the collegiate level, UConn Huskies star Paige Bueckers has gained a lot of hype around the basketball world. She still has two years of college eligibility left and it's unknown when she'll take the next step in her basketball journey.

That said, some fans are already bracing to see Bueckers making noise in the WNBA. After Bueckers attended the ESPYs and showed off an all-pink outfit paired with white shoes, WNBA fans on X had a lot to say about her aura and future in the league.

Some fans went on to say that Paige Bueckers would be bigger than Caitlin Clark once she makes it to the WNBA.

"If she didn’t get hurt she would be bigger than CC," one fan said.

More fans made NBA comparisons between Bueckers and Clark, likening them to two of the best male players of this generation.

Others say that she will be less popular than Caitlin Clar but beat her in performances when they both are in the league.

"I don’t think she’ll be half as popular as CC or AR. She seems very in authentic to me. We’ll see," a fan said.

Paige Bueckers turns a lot of heads with Highsnobiety magazine milestone

While she's still in college, Paige Bueckers has taken advantage of her image and is making moves that can greatly benefit her career. The Huskies guard was featured on the cover of Highsnobiety magazine and announced the honor on Instagram, sharing a series of pictures sporting casual street-style looks.

"Helloooo fashion world 👋🏼 So blessed and grateful to @HighSnobiety for this opportunity to share a little bit of my story through a new fashion statement. Of course thank you to @bhampton and everyone else who played a part in making this happen🫶🏼," she wrote in the caption.

Bueckers drew a lot of attention thanks to this announcement, with fellow WNBA player Aaliyah Edwards and former teammate Olivia Nelson-Ododa showering Bueckers with praise.

"KILLED THIS," former UConn and now-Connecticut Sun player Olivia Nelson-Ododa wrote.

It's unclear when Paige Bueckers will make the transition to the WNBA but it's fair to say she will be a pretty big deal once she makes it to the pros.
