Fans trolled Bronny James as rookie Caitlin Clark played an instrumental role in Indiana Fever's home victory over the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA on Friday. Indiana beat Phoenix 95-86 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis to improve to 10-14 on the season.
Clark put on yet another all-round display and was at the forefront of Indiana's victory. The former Iowa superstar gave 17,000+ fans inside the Gainbridge Fieldhouse arena plenty to holler about.
The 22-year-old scored 20 points and dished out 13 assists to record her fifth consecutive double-double game. She also registered six rebounds and shot 8-of-16, including 2-of-7 from the 3-point range.
Fans marveled at Caitlin Clark's performance after the rookie led her team to another victory. There was a section of fans who compared Caitlin Clark with LeBron James' son Bronny James, who's playing his maiden NBA Summer League game against the Houston Rockets at the same time the Fever rookie was torching the Mercury in WNBA.
Hoops fans trolled Bronny James and took a dig at him after Clark's masterclass. Many claimed that Caitlin Clark could put on a better performance than Bronny James in the NBA Summer League.

Bronny James struggles on his Summer League debut
There has been a ton of attention on Bronny James since he was drafted by the LA Lakers. The former USC guard's performances have been highly scrutinized, with hoops fans and pundits voicing their opinions.
Bronny made his NBA Summer League debut on Friday for the Lakers against the Houston Rockets. LeBron James' son didn't enjoy a great game but showed a few flashes of excellent moments.
He ended the game with eight points after playing 26:46 minutes on the night. The 19-year-old shot 3-of-14 but failed to convert any of his eight 3-point attempts.
