WNBA legend Sheryl Swoopes continues to respond to trolls on social media amid the firestorm on her commentary about Caitlin Clark. Swoopes clapped back at a fan who questioned her pregnancy during her rookie season as a comparison with Clark emerged.

The four-time WNBA champion wasn't having any disrespect coming her way when one troll expressed surprised that someone got her pregnant. The troll went too far, as it used "beast" to describe Swoopes.

Nevertheless, the legend knows how to play the game of social media and barked back at the troll.

"Careful....in that prison uniform!" Swoopes tweeted.

Sheryl Swoopes' pregnancy during her rookie season in 1997 resurfaced when one user compared her rookie stats with Caitlin Clark's. There's a huge difference given that Swoopes played just nine games as a rookie because she gave birth to her son, Jordan Erick.

It's an unfair comparison for Swoopes even though many Clark fans are unhappy with how she's treating the Indiana Fever superstar publicly. Some have even labeled her a hater or a racist, but she has now gone silent about the issue.

The three-time MVP went as far as praising Fever players like Kelsey Mitchell, Lexie Hull and Aliyah Boston without talking about Clark's performances. Her issue with the 22-year-old rookie has been well recorded since last year.

Sheryl Swoopes' appearance on the "Gil's Arena" podcast seemingly confirmed her stance about Caitlin Clark. Swoopes used false information to discredit the Iowa guard's college accomplishments. She claimed that Clark was in her fifth year and took 40 shows per game, which were both wrong.

Sheryl Swoopes removed from broadcast team for Caitlin Clark game

The Indiana Fever took on the Dallas Wings on Sunday with Ron Thulin and Nancy Lieberman in the broadcast booth. It was supposed to be Thulin and Sheryl Swoopes on the call, but it was changed before the game.

No reason was released why the change was made, but it can be assumed that it could be because of Swoopes' views about Clark, as national TV broadcasters are not supposed to be biased about any player or team and should call the game evenly.

When Thulin mentioned during a game between the Las Vegas Aces and tje Dallas Wings that Clark won the Player of the Week honors along with A'ja Wilson, Swoopes went silent for about a minute. She didn't acknowledge the accomplishment, which was called out by fans online.

Caitlin Clark went on to lead the Fever to a 100-93 win over the Wings, finishing with 28 points, four rebounds and 12 assists. Kelsey Mitchell made her presence felt with 36 points, six rebounds and three assists, while NaLyssa Smith added 14 points and eight boards.
