Former WNAB star Val Whiting criticized WNBA rookie star Caitlin Clark for not showing grace to her teammates during the Indiana Fever vs. Dallas Wings game through her X post, formerly on Twitter.

"I don’t like that CC showed frustration and threw up her arms when Lyss turned the ball over. Everyone makes mistakes. Show your teammates grace," Whiting tweeted.

The Fever vs. Wings game was a close call between the two teams until the very last moments. During a play, NaLyssa Smith turned the ball over and Caitlin Clark could not hold her frustration back and raised her arms in disappointment. This attracted the criticism of Whiting, who advised Clark to be more grateful and forgiving towards her teammates.

Individually, Clark scored 24 points, collected six rebounds and provided an impressive 19 assists to keep the game alive. Aaliyah Boston was a great supporter, leading the Fever scoring charts with 28 points, eight rebounds and three assists.

However, the Wings outscored the Fever in the final quarter to secure a 101-93 win. Odyssey Sims and Arike Ogunbowale led the charts for the Wings with 24 points each.

Caitlin Clark breaks multiple records in the loss against the Dallas Wings

Although the Indiana Fever lost the game on Wednesday, it was a pretty successful night for their rookie superstar, Caitlin Clark.

The former Iowa Hawkeyes ace dished out 19 assists in the game, setting the record for the most assists provided in a single game in a season. Head coach Christie Sides praised the rookie for achieving the Incredible feat.

"19 assits is incredible, and the most assists in a season in franchise history tonight to," Sides said.

Moreover, Clark also shattered WNBA legend Sue Bird's all-time WNBA record. The Fever rookie became the first player to reach 400 points and 200 assists in just 26 games. The WNBA legend held this record previously when she reached the 400-point-200-assist mark in 33 games.

Caitlin Clark also broke the franchise record for the most assists provided in a single season in Indiana Fever's history with 202 assists.

The Fever (11-15) have made a comeback from one of the worst starts of the season to a respectable position in the standings, where making the playoffs is a real possibility.
