Skylar Diggins-Smith posted a two-word reaction to the jersey reveal for Unrivaled. The Instagram handle of the 3x3 basketball league uploaded a video revealing the official jersey designs of the teams playing in the tournament.
The Seattle Storm guard dropped into the post's comment section and revealed her thoughts on the reveal.
"They cute!" Smith wrote.
The video featured multiple WNBA stars set to play in Unrivaled from Jan. 17 checking out the jerseys in a locker room. Angel Reese, Breanna Stewart, Kate Martin and Sabrina Ionescu were some of the players seen in the video.
The Lunar Owls jersey has a white background with purple stripes around the sleeve line. The front featured the "Lunar Owl" branding, the player's number and the sponsor's name in violet text.
Skylar Diggins-Smith is one of the 36 players participating in the 3x3 basketball league. On Nov. 20, Unrivaled held its unique draft for the inaugural season. The Storm guard was selected to the Owls, where she will play under coach DJ Sackman. Smith had a good run with the Storm last season. She averaged 15.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game.
Each team in the Unrivaled has six players on their roster, and Skylar Diggins-Smith will be playing alongside Courtney Williams, Cameron Brink, Allisha Gray, Napheesa Collier and Shakira Austin. Smith's team will play in the first matchup of the league's inaugural season on Jan. 17. They will take on Breanna Stewart's Mist Basketball Club.
Skylar Diggins-Smith welcomes Cameron Brink to Unrivaled with a one-word reaction
Skylar Diggins-Smith welcomed Cameron Brink to Unrivaled with a one-word reaction. The Seattle Storm guard shared the league's Instagram post welcoming Brink on her Instagram story.
"TUH!" Smith wrote.
Smith and Brink belong to different generations and play for separate teams in the WNBA. Smith is a decade-long veteran playing for the Storm, while Brink will enter her second year with the LA Sparks next season.
Cameron Brink's rookie season was cut short last year after she tore an ACL in her left knee in June. The injury cost Brink a spot on the 3x3 U.S. Women's National Basketball team that participated in the 2024 Summer Olympics. However, the Sparks star has completed her rehab and will be suiting up with the Lunar Owls to take on the Mist BC on Jan. 17.
