Friday's matchup between the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky was another fiery encounter. Caitlin Clark was once again outstanding in the Fever's 100-81 win, finishing with a career-high 31 points.

Clark is probably having the best rookie season in WNBA history, but many fans are concerned about how opponents are treating the 22-year-old on the court. On Friday, Sky players committed two flagrant fouls against Clark. The Fever rookie has five flagrant fouls this season, 17 percent of the league's total.

Fans voiced their concerns after a series of hard fouls over the last few months.

"One of these times, someone's going to really hurt her," stated a fan.
"Caitlin is being targeted," said one fan.
"The Fever needs to draft an enforcer next year!" commented a fan.
"So we were NOT imagining things!" one fan wrote.

Some called out the Chicago Sky for their aggressive approach towards Clark. Chicago players are responsible for 80 percent (4 out of 5) of the flagrant fouls against Clark, averaging one per game.

Chennedy Carter, Angel Reese, Michaela Onyenwere and Diamond DeShields have all been called for flagrant fouls against the Fever guard.

"Chicago is a dirty team, they can't win without being dirty, but they also can't win when being dirty," commented a fan.
"Statistically this supports the narrative of targeting. Shame on the WNBA for not addressing it directly. This changes my perception of the @chicagosky too. Do better ladies," said another fan.

Caitlin Clark garnered plenty of attention after breaking the NCAA all-time points record last year with the Iowa Hawkeyes. She continues to shatter records in the WNBA too.

Clark currently leads the WNBA in assists with 8.3 per game. She ranks ninth in points (18.4) and 16th in steals per game (1.4).
