"That's dope": Caitlin Clark's BF Connor McCaffrey once gave sweet shoutout to her for winning Kevin Durant C'ship years before dating

It has been over a year that Caitlin Clark and Connor McCaffrey have been dating. Years before they started dating, the Indiana Fever star still shared a great relationship with her now-boyfriend.

In July 2018, Clark, then a high school student, was part of Kevin Durant's All-Iowa Attack AAU team that won the Nike GEYBL national championship. After winning the championship, she made a post on her social media with her teammates and Durant himself. Clark also sent a shoutout to her teammates.

"Nike Nationals Champs! So thankful to be a part of the attack fam❤️🥇"

McCaffery, who was then playing for the Hawkeyes, was one of the first few people who congratulated her on the post. Showing support for then-Dowling Catholic High School player, McCaffery also congratulated her.

"That’s dope," Connor wrote.

"Congrats bro," he wrote in the following comment.

Caitlin Clark also responded to the congratulatory comments from Connor McCaffrey. She also greeted him with a birthday wish in the comment.

"@connor_m30 thanks Connor and happy bday !," she wrote.

Connor also replied with a smiling face with horns emoji.

"@caitlinclark22 appreciate it 😈," Connor replied.

Caitlin Clark and Connor McCaffrey both played college basketball for the Iowa Hawkeyes. While Connor followed in his father's footsteps and took a coaching position with the Butler Bulldogs, Clark pursued her career in the WNBA.

Caitlin Clark attends boyfriend Connor McCaffrey's Butler game with family

Caitlin Clark was in attendance for the Bulter Bulldogs' game against the Northwestern Wildcats on November 28. The Twitter page of the Butler Bulldogs posted a picture of the Indiana Fever star sitting in the stands in a hoodie.

Clark was also joined by her family. The WNBA star was seen sitting alongside her two brothers, Colin and Blake Clark. She was also joined by her father, Brent Clark, and mother, Anne Clark.

This is not the first time that Clark has attended her boyfriend's game since he has taken the assistant coaching job position with the Bulldogs. Previously, Connor McCaffery worked with the Indiana Pacers as a basketball development coordinator.

She previously attended one of McCaffrey's games with Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton and his girlfriend Jade Jones. This offseason, Clark has attended a few NBA games as well. After attending Haliburton and the Pacers game, the Fever star was in attendance for the game between the Golden State Warriors and the Phoenix Suns on November 30.
