"That swimming pool so lucky" - Fans react after Caitlin Clark touches pool water at the US Olympic Swimming Trials

Caitlin Clark fans were excited to see the Indiana Fever rookie make an appearance at the US Olympic Swimming Trials at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium on Tuesday. In a video shared by USA Swimming on X, Clark and her Indiana teammates appeared in high spirits as they got an opportunity to watch some of the top swimmers in action up close.

Clark was greeted with rapturous applause from the fans upon her arrival inside the stadium. The former Iowa superstar was at her candid best, even pretending to jump into the pool and touch the water.

Caitlin Clark's fans dropped their reaction after watching the Fever rookie in attendance at the US Olympic Swimming Trials.

One of the fans dropped a hilarious reaction.

"That swimming pool so lucky," wrote a fan.

One fan encouraged Clark to take a dip in the pool.

"Jump in the water! Come’on. it’ll be fun."

Another X user hilariously pointed out that Clark touching the water will be blown out of proportion to stir controversy.

"How many think pieces will be made about CC "disrupting" the flow of water in the pool by touching it with a finger and therefore disqualifying all results?"

A couple of fans were thrilled after watching Clark enjoy her time.

"It’s refreshing to see a 22 year old have fun," wrote one fan.
"How fun and cool!!!" wrote another fan.

Reacting to Clark receiving a warm reception inside the stadium, a fan switched focus on the rookie's Olympic snub.

"Oh man, the only thing I can think is how much audience the WNBA could bring if they just made the right decision of taking her to Paris?"

Caitlin Clark also shared a photo of the swimming pool on her Instagram story with "fire" emojis.

Caitlin Clark will be in action on Wednesday

The Fever rookie will be in action on Wednesday as Indiana are scheduled to host the Washington Mystics at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Clark will enter the game after leading the Fever to an emphatic 91-83 win over Angel Reese's Chicago Sky on June 16. The Fever rookie scored 23 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out nine assists and made a match-winning impact in her last outing.

Clark is currently at the forefront when it comes to the Rookie of the Year candidates. The 22-year-old is averaging 16.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 1.3 steals and one block after playing 15 games on the season.
