Breanna Stewart is having a lot of fun during Unrivaled's first season despite her Mist BC's 0-4 start. Stewart shared several images from the league's second weekend, with wife Marta Xargay and New York Liberty teammate Sabrina Ionescu dropping reactions.

In a post on her Instagram, Stewart uploaded images and videos from her week, showing her during Mist's game. The post also featured her and Mist coach Phil Handy, who has a lot to figure out to get his team its first victory.

"And we just keep on keeping on…" Stewart wrote.

Several basketball personalities commented on Breanna Stewart's post, including her wife Marta Xargay and fellow Unrivaled player Sabrina Ionescu. Xargay was proud of Stewart's week, while Ionescu liked the "swag" from her New York Liberty teammate.

"Swagggggy," Ionescu wrote.
"The one and only 🔥❤️," Xargay commented.

Stewart and Xargay have been together since before the pandemic and got married in July 2021. The couple has two children together: a daughter named Ruby Mae and a son named Theo Josep. Xargay has always supported Stewart by watching her games live.

Meanwhile, Stewart and Ionescu have been teammates since the former decided to come home to New York after seven seasons and two WNBA championships in Seattle. Stewart won the MVP award in her first year with the Liberty in 2023 but fell short in the WNBA Finals.

Fast forward to last season, and the dynamic duo finally brought the first-ever WNBA championship to the Big Apple. They outlasted Unrivaled co-founder Napheesa Collier and the Minnesota Lynx in five games, with Game 5 going to overtime and a controversial finish.

As expected by many, the New York Liberty designated Breanna Stewart as a core player before free agency started. This means Stewart is off the market, with the Liberty free to negotiate with her.

However, Stewart is likely not signing a long-term deal with New York due to the upcoming CBA taking effect in 2026. She's eligible to sign a one-year, $249,244 contract, though she could also take a pay cut, just like she did last season.

This will help the Liberty rebuild the team as they try to defend the WNBA championship next season. Several teams have already improved their rosters, like the Las Vegas Aces trading Kelsey Plum and acquiring Jewell Loyd in a blockbuster three-team trade with the Seattle Storm and LA Sparks.
