Chennedy Carter was overwhelmed by her fans' support after she delivered a dominant 40-point performance against the Liaoning 81. The Wuhan 82 faced the Liaoning 81 in a regular season matchup in the Chinese Women's Basketball Association and walked away with a close 82–81 win.

After the game, the Sky star shared a video of herself walking out of the arena. She met a horde of fans waiting to take autographs and pictures. Carter was taken aback by the marvelous support and expressed her thoughts on it in the caption of her upload.

"Love it here, the support is unmatched," she captioned her post.

Like many other players in the WNBA, Chennedy Carter took her talents overseas when the WNBA entered the off-season. She joined the Wuhan 82 also known as Wuhan Sheng Fan to play in the CWBA.

The Chicago Sky star was the point of difference in securing the win for her team on the Friday night matchup. Carter scored 40 points, collected four rebounds and dished out seven assists to help her team win.

Chennedy Carter hints at an uncertain future with the Chicago Sky with a Russell Westbrook-inspired post

Chennedy Carter hinted at her uncertain future with the Chicago Sky with a Russell Westbrook-inspired post on X. On Sept. 29, NBA Central posted an interview with the Denver Nuggets star where he revealed his thoughts on playing for the Clippers and a reason impacting his departure.

"To be honest, (my skill-set) was unique, they just didn’t put me in position to be unique. I was in a position where I was playing not my position," Westbrook said.

Three months later, Carter came across the post and backed the Nuggets star relating to his thoughts in the post's comment section.

"Nal I felt this !!!! Lol," Carter commented.

Chenned Carter was the heart of the Chicago Sky offense last season. She averaged 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game and was involved in almost every offensive play made by the Sky last season.

However, the Sky failed to make the playoffs and as a consequence, their former coach Teresa Weatherspoon was fired. The management hired Tyler Marsh as a replacement for Weatherspoon and the new coach is yet to openly talk about his plans for Carter in the future he envisions for the Sky.
