NBA fans had some things to say about Caitlin Clark's charge to speak at virtual meetings. Clark has been doing this for a while, but the details were unknown until the 2024 WNBA offseason.

According to Clutch Sports (via Legion Hoops on X), the Indiana Fever star charges start at $100K per 30-minute virtual speaking, which is a lot in comparison to her WNBA salary ($76,535).

"REPORT: Caitlin Clark’s team revealed that her 30-minute virtual speaking fee starts at $100K, h/t @ClutchPoints. Clark had 6 speaking events in the past year, which would be a minimum of $600K just from virtual speaking events. 🤯"

Plenty of fans reacted to this report, with some criticizing the player for charging that much, even questioning if she thought she was Michael Jordan.

"100k to speak??? This chick really thinks she’s Jordan 😂😆," one fan wrote.
"Imagine paying to hear that lame a** broad talk on zoom 😅😅🤣🤣," another fan said.
"She needs to be in the gym working on turnovers !!!!! Isn’t this what they do about to the black girl getting money off the court?" another fan questioned.

Others celebrated this and pumped up Caitlin Clark for going after that money by trying different things.

"Caitlin clark is really raising the bar for these female athletes and all they do is hate on her 🤦🏽‍♂️," one fan said.
"Caitlin “My time is Money” Clark," another fan said.

This isn't the first time people talk about Clark speaking in virtual meetings. A couple of weeks ago, she became very popular on LinkedIn after receiving excellent reviews.

Caitlin Clark went viral after fans learned she was appearing in virtual meetings

At the start of November, a series of posts on LinkedIn and X went viral. The posts talked about Caitlin Clark's appearances at virtual reunions and in-person commitments.

A fan account revealed that she had been booked for four in-person conferences: cardiovascular research technologies, the Massachusetts Conference for Women, Becker's Healthcare annual ASC meeting and the National Conference for Women.

The WNBA Rookie of the Year received praise from one of the attendants to these meetings, calling her a 'powerhouse' while sharing some of the topics Clark touched on.

Caitlin has made money off the court, but that income is linked to her sponsorships. While she plays golf and gets ready for the 2025 season, Clark is making moves to add more sources of income.
