Las Vegas Aces superstar A'ja Wilson put in another strong display on Friday in a bid for a WNBA MVP award on a unanimous decision. The 27-year-old Wilson filled the stat sheet in the Aces' dominant 84-70 win over the Atlanta Dream at the Gateway Center Arena at College Park.

The reigning WNBA Finals MVP exploded with a sizzling performance and led Las Vegas to another victory this season. A'ja Wilson's all-round masterclass was captivating as she dominated on both ends of the floor and registered a huge double-double.

The two-time league MVP scored 33 points on 13-of-23 shooting from the field, including 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. Wilson was a menace on the boards as she grabbed 18 rebounds, including two boards on the offensive end.

The two-time Defensive Player of the Year was a force to be reckoned with on the defensive end on Friday. A'ja Wilson recorded three steals and five blocks in 37:20 minutes on the floor.

A record-breaking season for A'ja Wilson

A'ja Wilson has been on a mission this season. She leads the league in scoring and blocking shots while occupying second place in rebounds. Wilson is averaging 27.1 points, 11.6 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game.

Wilson is breaking records and minting new ones at a rapid speed. On Friday, Wilson became the first player to average 30 points and 15 rebounds over a four-game stretch.

The 27-year-old also became the first player to register a stat line of 30+ points, 15+ rebounds, 5+ blocks, and 3+ steals in a WNBA game.

Wilson is among the three players averaging a double-double in the month of July. The other two players are Cailtin Clark and Angel Reese. Wilson is by far the leading candidate to win the MVP award.
