Kelsey Plum's an LA Spark, and among those who wished the best for the 2x WNBA champion was NFL superstar Travis Kelce's ex, Kayla Nicole. The artist took to Instagram to share a welcome message to Plum. She shared an image of the former Las Vegas Aces guard alongside Sparks mainstays — Cameron Brink and Rickea Jackson.
Nicole expressed her excitement with a crisp take:
"Welcome to the city Plum Daaaawg"
Plum was part of a blockbuster trade that sent Seattle Storm's Jewell Loyd to the Aces, while as part of the deal, the Storm will acquire the No. 2 pick in the 2025 WNBA draft and Sparks' center Li Yuer. LA will get the No. 9 pick in 2025 from the Storm, and the Aces get the No. 13 pick in the 2025 draft from the Sparks to complete the trade
The guard heads to LA on the back of some solid numbers averaging 17.8 points and 4.2 assists and shot 36.8% on 3-pointers last season. The Aces made the playoffs but were sent packing by the New York Liberty in the semifinals.
Cameron Brink welcomes the latest Sparks teammate Kelsey Plum with a hyped 3-word reaction
In her latest story on Instagram, Cameron Brink welcomed her newest teammate, Kelsey Plum with a hyped reaction. The forward had a three-word reaction complete with LA's purple and gold emojis.
“KP my DAWG”
Plum joins a rebuilding Sparks outfit as one of the vital cogs of the side. The unit finished last in the previous season, but with Brink healthy and tremendous talent in Jackson, LA seems poised to make the playoffs and with the right level of pieces around the trio might be dark horses for title contention.
