A'ja Wilson danced with New York Liberty mascot Ellie the Elephant during the WNBA All-Star event. The official X account of the WNBA uploaded the video of the interaction in a post.
They accompanied a caption with it to label the interaction:
"The duo we didn't know we needed."
The Las Vegas Aces star can be seen sitting in the front row seats at the Phoenix Center as the proceedings of the All-Star event went by on the court. She was holding a drink cup in her hand and vibing to the music playing in the arena.
"Period Ellie, Period, Period," Wilson chanted.
The mascot came to the two-time WNBA MVP and held her hand. The two then started to vibe on the beats playing in the arena. While Ellie was throwing dance moves, Wilson was enjoying the moment from her seat and danced along with Ellie.
Caitlin Clark, sitting beside Wilson, was laughing the entire time after witnessing Wilson's amusing interaction with the mascot.

Wilson shared her thoughts on making it as the game's cover star.
"Being featured on the NBA 2K25 cover is a big moment for me and a testament to the ever-growing fandom of the WNBA," Wilson said via USA Today.
"Seeing more and more WNBA athletes scanned into NBA 2K25 to best capture the style and confidence of the league has been empowering, and I can't wait for fans to experience it in-game," she added.
