Angel Reese calls out referees after loss vs Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever
Angel Reese had a productive night, tying the WNBA rookie record with her sixth consecutive double-double as she finished with 11 points, 13 rebounds and five assists.
However, she struggled with her shooting, going 4-of-13 from the field, and was called for five fouls.
After the game, Reese criticized the referees for allegedly favoring other players with calls.
"I think we went up really strong and a lot of times we didn't get a lot of calls. And going back and looking at the film, I saw a lot of calls that weren't made. I guess some people got a special whistle, but just being able to play as best as we can,” she said per CBS Sports.
In Monday’s game, the Sky went 12-for-14 from the free throw line, while the Fever went 13-for-19.
