Caitlin Clark has been enjoying the WNBA’s Olympic break alongside her teammate Lexie Hull. On Monday night, Clark and Hull returned to Indianapolis, not to shoot hoops, but to enjoy music from a famous country singer.

Following their getaway to Mexico, Indiana Fever teammates Clark, and Hull were seen attending and even joining Jordan Davis on stage on his Indiana concert for the last day of his tour. Clark sang along with the country artist while also hyping up the crowd during their segment on stage,

The concert was one of the many things Clark has done so far during WNBA’s Olympic break, which started last July 21 and will run until August 14.

Last week, Clark was seen spending vacation with Hull and another teammate Katie Lou Samuelson in Cabo, Mexico, where they enjoyed the beach. Clark was also with her boyfriend Connor McCaffery.

After helping the Team WNBA beat the Olympic-bound Team USA in this year’s All-Star game, Clark expressed how much she wanted to have time off. She hoped to recuperate following a momentous year for her bridging from her final year in the NCAA to her rookie season in the WNBA.

“I'm on vacation," she said in the All-Star game’s press conference. "I honestly can't wait to not touch a basketball for a while…I've shot too many times in the past year."

Clark had only one month to prepare for the professional league. She wrapped up her college career with the Iowa Hawkeyes on April 7 in the National Championship game, before playing her first regular season game on May 14.

Caitlin Clark did not make the cut for Team USA

Caitlin Clark afforded to have a vacation in the middle of the WNBA season since she was one of the biggest omissions to the Team USA squad for the Paris Olympics.

According to Dawn Staley, who was one of the members of the Team USA selection committee, Clark was left off due to her performance early in the season, when she evidently struggled to adjust to the league.

“As a committee member, you’re charged with putting together the best team of players, the best talent. Caitlin is just a rookie in the WNBA. (She) wasn’t playing bad, but wasn’t playing like she’s playing now,” Staley said.

However, Staley added that she has since regretted the decision, and if she has to do it all over again, Clark is likely to be in the final lineup for the Paris Games.

“If we had to do it all over again, the way that she’s playing, she would be in really high consideration of making the team because she is playing head and shoulders above a lot of people.”

Clark is averaging 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 8.2 assists, and 1.5 steals to lead the Fever to the seventh-best record in the league at 11 wins and 15 losses.
