WNBA rookie Angel Reese is starting to gain recognition because of her game, but others like Dwight Howard notice something else. Reese is a double-double machine in the league, as she's dominated with her rebounding. However, some fans have mocked the way she often grabs rebounds off her own misses.
In a video posted on X by the user @Jay_3shifty on Monday, Howard was seen playing a pickup game. During a sequence, one of his teammates attempted a shot under the basket but missed. Luckily, he got his rebound and had another shot at a basket. However, the player missed again and was lucky to grab a second rebound.
Before making the shot in the scene, Howard's teammate went through the same motion four times. After making the basket, his teammates were energized, including the former Orlando Magic star. The former NBA player yelled "Angel Reese!" after his teammate scored the basket.
Watch the video below to see Howard's reaction to his teammate.
During the season, fans have mocked Reese for how she plays the game, specifically when rebounding.

Angel Reese makes history with her rebounding
"The Queen of Rebounding" should be the official nickname for Angel Reese as she made rebounding history on Sunday against the Minnesota Lynx. She broke the record that was set by Sylvia Fowles back in 2018 when she had 404 rebounds in a single season.
Reese now has 418 rebounds, and there's more to come. The Chicago Sky's season isn't over and the former LSU star is expected to add more to her name.
Unfortunately, she wasn't able to lead the Sky to a win against the Lynx, as they suffered a 79–74 loss. Reese dominated the glass during their Sunday game and finished with 17 points and 19 rebounds.
After her performance against Minnesota, Reese was praised by former WNBA star Lisa Leslie. Leslie gave the rookie forward a new nickname, "Rebounding Barbie."
"Congratulations Rebounding Barbie💕💕💕💕 I couldn’t be more proud of you @Reese10Angel ❤️U🏀," Leslie posted on her X account.
How has Angel Reese played this season?
In just her rookie season, Reese has impressed fans with what she can do on the court. Her rebounding has made her a rising star, along with her college rival, Caitlin Clark. But she offers a different style of playing than Clark.
The one-time All-Star has played 32 games, averaging 13.3 points, 13.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists. She's shot 38.5% from the field, which isn't the best efficiency. But Reese offers a lot on the rebounding aspect.
She's currently on a 26-game streak of having double-digits in rebounding. Reese isn't showing any signs of slowing down and could finish the season on a high note.
