The Buffalo Bills traveled to Baltimore, Maryland, to take on the Ravens on Sunday night for a Week 4 NFL matchup. Baltimore drew attendance from a rising WNBA star in Angel Reese.
Angel Reese shared a message with Ravens fans on X with a video released on the team's account.
"Hey guys, I'm super excited to be in Baltimore. Back home, supporting the home team. Go flock!"
The Ravens praised Reese as a "hometown legend" in the caption, as the Chicago Sky star attended St. Frances Academy in Baltimore. Angel Reese was ranked the No. 2 overall recruit in the class of 2020 by ESPN.
In high school, Reese was named USA Today Maryland Player of the Year in 2019 and 2020 and stayed home in her college choice, attending the University of Maryland before transferring to LSU following her sophomore season.
In two years with the Terrapins, Reese averaged 15.3 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. She was an All-American in her sophomore season, earning Big Ten All-Defense honors.
Reese just completed her rookie season in the WNBA, posting 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. The rookie All-Star set the WNBA rebounding record in just her first season. Reese's rookie season was cut short due to a wrist injury that required surgery, forcing the rookie to miss the Sky's final six games of the season.
