WNBA fans had jokes for Angel Reese after her PR team allegedly took down a video of the Chicago Sky rookie forward missing layups. X account @brickscenter shared a screenshot of a reply after the post 'Angel Reese missed layups but they get increasingly more ridiculous' was taken down.

"Angel Reese’s PR team working overtime 😂," the captioned the post.

Fans didn't hesitate to troll the 22-year-old, with some comparing her to LeBron James because he uses his PR team to remove unflattering content from the internet.

"Dam we have the female LeBum James now, smh. WTF, the torture just doesn't stop," one fan said.
"She’s so pathetic, lol. She wants to be a “face of the league” but can’t take any criticism at all," another fan said.

Others said the post vanished in an effort to hide her on-court struggles.

"They can remove the video, but they cant remove her stats! 💩," one fan wrote.
"This is definitely the WNBA trying to keep Angel Reese propaganda up," another fan speculated.

Another group of fans kept the trolling going.

Angel Reese was accused of stat padding during her rookie season

Angel Reese became one of the WNBA's main storylines this season due to her rebounding and double-doubles.

Even so, X user @itsantwright accused the rookie of stat padding when they shared a screenshot of Reese grabbing her own rebounds after missing layups. She totaled five consecutive rebounds from her missed shots.

This graphic earned her criticism from fans, but she never backed down, especially from those who criticized her rebounding style.

"Just being able to go down there and bang and do things that a lot of people don't want to do. Defense and rebounding wins championships. And I've won championships at every level by just doing that.
"So, coming into the league, before I sharpen my offense, just being able to come here and have that on my shoulders, it's something I could always do. It's something that I always knew would translate."

With her first WNBA season in the books, the future looks bright for Angel Reese.
