Angel Reese's 'Unapologetically Angel' show has made quite an impression with fans. Some like it, others don't, but the Chicago Sky star is embracing all the comments and the money they bring to her bank account.
This week's episode featured NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal and one of the upcoming ones will have Carmelo Anthony's son Kiyan as a guest.
The show's official Instagram account shared a post asking fans to ask Kiyan Anthony anything, teasing a future appearance on the show for the four-star recruit.
This post drew mixed reactions, with some hyping up Angel Reese's guest selection and celebrating Kiyan, while some others found a way to shade the show.
Others celebrated Kiyan and wished him good things. Some fans, though, couldn't help but criticize how Angel Reese, as per them, tends to find a way to talk about Caitlin Clark in every episode of the show.
It's become common to see several clips of Angel Reese making the rounds around the league. She's followed the trends and used them to turn a lot of heads. For instance, the Shaquille O'Neal episode has made a lot of noise among fans.
Shaquille O'Neal explains why he chose Angel Reese as top pick over Caitlin Clark and other WNBA players
Shaquille O'Neal has become a father figure and mentor for Angel Reese. The LSU alumni have bonded over their college connection and Shaq supported Reese at special events at their alma mater.
During his participation on the forward's show, the four-time NBA champion revealed his first impression of Reese.
"[4:30] I thought you were beautiful, of course," Shaq said. "I thought you play with a passion. I figured you were gonna do it your way and you talk a lot of shi*t and back it up. So you are my type of player."
Reese's WNBA rookie season was nothing short of remarkable. She set several records, including the most consecutive double-doubles in a single season and the most rebounds in a single season (broken by A'ja Wilson after Reese's season ended with a wrist injury).
She almost led the struggling Sky to the postseason, but the Atlanta Dream snatched the No. 8 seed away from them in the final days of the regular season. Reese has unfinished business and her future looks promising after her first year.
