Caitlin Clark entered the WNBA as arguably the most exciting prospect of all time, and the Indiana Fever selected her with the No.1 overall pick. So far in her rookie season, Clark has lived up to the billing, helping the Fever to the seventh seed in the WNBA with an 11-15 record.

Caitlin Clark's Indiana Fever will resume season on Friday versus Mercury
The Indiana Fever are set to resume play on Friday in a matchup versus the Phoenix Mercury.
Phoenix will be a tough test for a young Fever squad looking to work their way into the playoffs on the shoulders of Caitlin Clark's stellar play.
In 26 games, Clark is averaging 17.1 points, 8.2 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. Clark's efforts have her leading the WNBA Rookie of the Year race, and the Fever are in the middle of the playoff hunt.
The Mercury is ahead of the Fever in the WNBA standings with a 14-12 record.
The Fever have the chance to pull off a big win against a veteran Mercury squad and will look to get out of the gates fast as the regular season resumes this week.
