Brittney Griner took home her third career-gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics as a key contributor for the United States women's national team.
Brittney Griner's wife, Cherelle Griner, took to Instagram to congratulate her wife on a historic third gold medal.
"What they gone say now bby? I'm so proud of you! Olympic Gold Medalist x3 is crazy! The work and time you committed to in order to be in that moment on that podium took everything in you! I love this for you 🤍 SN: I see y'all asking - yes, we had our baby! S/O to my mama for watching baby boy so I could share this moment with my wife 😘," Cherelle captioned her Instagram post
Brittney Griner shared the news of the arrival of the couple's son back in July on the CBS Sports show, We Need to Talk.
"He is amazing. They say as soon as you see him, everything you thought mattered just goes out the window and that's literally exactly what happened," Griner stated in the interview.

Brittney Griner and Team USA women's basketball team won their eighth consecutive gold medal with a 67-66 win over France.
Griner appeared in all six games for Team USA. She averaged 7.3 points and 4.2 rebounds, shooting 64% from the field in 14.5 minutes per game as the team's backup center.
This was Griner's third Olympics. Having previously won in Tokyo 2020 and Rio 2016 Olympics as well, this win is another addition to a Hall of Fame-caliber.
Brittney Griner gears up next for the return of the WNBA regular season, with her Phoenix Mercury taking on the Chicago Sky on Thursday. In 14 games this season, Griner has averaged 18.3 points, 1.9 assists and 6.4 rebounds, shooting 56% from the field
The Phoenix Mercury(13-12) currently hold the sixth seed in the WNBA.
