Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever return to the WNBA playoffs this season after eight years. They will take on the Connecticut Sun in the opening round of the postseason, which tips off on Sunday.

The Fever, however, will open their campaign on the road being the lower-seeded team. Indiana(20-20) wound up at sixth spot while the Sun(28-12) ended at No. 3.

Indiana will hope to take the series to the full stretch of three games and allow its hometown fans to catch Caitlin Clark and the rest of team live in action. Game 3 is set for Sept. 27 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The team has announced that tickets for Game 3 of the Fever-Sun showdown will be available beginning on Friday, Sept. 20, at 4 p.m. ET via its Ticket Central, the link of which can be found on the its official website. Fans can also check out its Mobile Ticket Guide for easy access.

Several packages are available for purchase, which include single game tickets, group tickets and premium tickets. As of this writing, there is no official word yet on how much tickets will go but considering how Fever matches this season were well-received, playoff tickets should be highly sought.

For those, meanwhile, who want to make the trip to the Uncasville home of the Sun for the first two games, tickets are available at their own ticketing hub.

Caitlin Clark happy to make it to her first WNBA playoffs with Indiana Fever

Caitlin Clark is off to her first WNBA postseason in her rookie year. The top rookie pick this season and the sixth-seeded Indiana Fever earned a first-round playoff date with the No. 3 team Connecticut Sun, which will begin on Sunday on the road. It will be their first postseason appearance since 2016.

Asked by reporters for her thoughts on her first playoff series, Clark, who at the time of the interview still did not know who they would be facing, shared:

"No, that would be kind of crazy. I just think wherever we go, we go. You prep the same way as you would prep for anybody else. Same way you've prepped all season long, obviously there's a little bit more on the line...
"Whoever we get, you're happy to be there and happy to compete against them."

Check out what she had to say below:

The Fever had a rough start to their campaign, going 1-8 in their first nine games. They then turned things around, going 19-12 in their next 31 games led by Caitlin Clark, alongside veterans Kelsey Mitchell, Aliyah Boston and NaLyssa Smith.

Clark averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists (league-high), 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals while shooting 41.7% from the field, 34.3% from three and 90.5% from the free-throw line in all 40 games of her first WNBA regular season.
