The Las Vegas Aces will look to bounce back to winning ways after a torrid run so far in the second half of the 2024 WNBA season. They will host the Atlanta Dream at the Michelob Ultra Arena on Friday, as the visitors will look to arrest their three-game slide. Their playoff hopes are minimal, and a loss on Friday further dents any chance of making the postseason.

The Aces will almost certainly make the playoffs, assuming they rack up a few wins over the final stretch of the regular season. They have a series of tough matchups coming up against playoff-bound sides Connecticut Sun and New York Liberty.

A win Friday will do their confidence a world of good. Las Vegas is placed fifth in the overall standings and has 12 losses already — six more than what it lost last season, showing its struggles on defense in recent times.

The Dream and Aces will face off for the final time this season and have split the results of the last two games. The hosts have no names on their injury list. According to ESPN, Atlanta will be without guard Aerial Powers (calf injury) who is expected to return mid-September. Forward Cheyenne Parker-Tyus is also listed day-to-day with an ankle injury.

Ahead of the key clash for both sides, here's a quick primer on where to catch the game and streaming options.

Atlanta Dream vs Las Vegas Aces: Player to watch out for

All eyes will be on MVP frontrunner, A'ja Wilson. The Las Vegas Aces power forward has been in sizzling form. She carried that form over to the 2024 Olympics and later picked up from where she left off.

Wilson comes off a 42-point blitzkrieg in the loss to the Dallas Wings earlier this week and joined elite company in the process as one of the four players in league history to have three or more 40+ point games.

This season, Wilson is averaging 27.1 points, 11.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.9 steals and 2.7 blocks. The forward is shooting 52.6% from the field and 35.6% from beyond the arc.
