Sunday evening's WNBA tussle sees the Indiana Fever pit their wits against the Dallas Wings. Both teams are in great form, and despite the Wings’ current position, it could be an extremely close duel.
The Wings walk into this game on their best winning run of the season, winning the last three matchups. The Los Angeles Sparks, Las Vegas Aces and most recently, the Minnesota Lynx, have all been slayed by the Texas outfit in August, and they will be more than hoping they can carry their unstoppable form into September and secure a playoff spot.
But the job at hand is certainly not a straightforward one, as Caitlin Clark and the Fever are set to be one of their toughest opponents yet, who are on course to secure a playoff spot. They've also been unbeaten in the last three matchups.
A barrage of home victories over the Atlanta Dream, Connecticut Sun and Chicago Sky fill the Fever with confidence ahead of what will be a difficult test, as the Fever have come out with only one win in the last five meetings between the two.

Indiana Fever vs. Dallas Wings: What to expect
As per the Wings website, coach Latricia Trammell’s team is averaging 100 points per game in the last three games and winning in all areas. Key players like Natasha Howard, Teaira McCowan, Arike Ogunbowale and Satou Sabally have performed exceptionally well. Dallas' bench has also contributed significantly, especially Sevgi Uzun. However, the question is, can the team continue its superb run?
On the other end, Caitlin Clark has been instrumental in the Fever’s resurgence. The rookie guard has played a pivotal role alongside Lexie Hull and has looked assured on the ball when transitioning from defense to attack.
As the league leader in assists with 8.3 per game and scoring 18.4 points per game with a 41.9% field goal percentage, Clark will hope she can keep the Fever inside the playoff picture.
