Where to watch New York Liberty vs Las Vegas Aces? Date, time, streaming options, and more (October 4, 2024)

The Las Vegas Aces host the New York Liberty in a do-or-die scenario as both teams look to book a 2024 WNBA Finals berth. NY carved out a 2-0 lead by getting the better of the 2x defending champions, and in what comes as a must-win situation, the action moves to Nevada where the Aces will hope to force a Game 4.

No WNBA team has bounced back from a 0-2 deficit, and the question will be whether Las Vegas will be the first team to change history.

The Liberty did survive a scare in the second game with the Aces rallying back in the fourth quarter despite trailing by eight points. Guard Alysha Clark buried a three to cut the deficit, but NY hung on to end with a narrow 88-84 win. Game 3 sees the Aces looking to counter the same three issues that torched them in Games 1 and 2 — Size, lack of depth, and a misfiring offense.

Another win for Liberty sees them coast to the Final where they will meet the winner of the other semis clash between the Minnesota Lynx and the Connecticut Sun. The Aces will be looking to stay alive, but it remains to be seen if they can muster enough firepower to get past the Liberty in their payback tour.

New York Liberty vs Las Vegas Aces: Can Kelsey Plum bounce back to form?

The focus will firmly be on guard Kelsey Plum as she looks to shrug off her inconsistent playoff run with a solid outing to help the Aces live to fight another day. Her poor run in Game 2 saw the Aces go down by four points, although she was one of the leading scorers in the semis opener vs the Liberty.

The Aces will need her to fire in a game that dictates their future in the league. With A'ja Wilson and Jackie Young doing the scoring, only time will tell if Plum can bounce back in a key game.
