The Las Vegas Aces and the Seattle Storm meet at the Michelob Ultra Arena on Tuesday (Sep. 24) in Game 2 of the WNBA playoffs. After losing the opener 78-67, the Storm need a win to force a third meeting between the two, with the action shifting to Seattle.

However, the Aces have championship-winning DNA from the last two seasons, making them a stiff opposition to put away. The Aces were put under the pump right from tip-off in Game 1, with the Storm taking an 18-9 lead in the first quarter.

They bounced back in the second quarter to come within four points to end the half 52-48. The Storm, though, were thoroughly outplayed by A'ja Wilson who had a massive 15-point third quarter, while Tiffany Hayes exploded for 20 points off the bench.

Seattle's offense was a no-show in the final stretch as the team went down by 11 points to give the Aces a 1-0 lead.

Seattle Storm vs Las Vegas Aces player to watch out for: Kelsey Plum

One of the key names to watch out for in Game 2 will be Aces star guard Kelsey Plum.

The three-time WNBA All-Star had a woeful first game with just two points on 1-8 shooting from the field and 0-4 from beyond the arc. She played 27 minutes and had two assists to end her evening. While the Aces recorded a crucial win, Plum was one of the players missing out on a solid start.

Plum has been a vital cog in the Aces offense. She ended her regular season averaging 17.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. The guard shot 42.3% from the field and 36.4% from the 3-point range and nailed 86.6% of her shits from the free-throw line.

She was also the second-leading scorer in the Las Vegas unit, behind Wilson. The Aces will need their shooting guard to get back to form as they look to defend their title.
