Where to watch Washington Mystics vs Las Vegas Aces? Date, time, and streaming options

The Las Vegas Aces will look to extend their five-game winning streak when they host the Washington Mystics at the Michelob Ultra Arena on Thursday (July 4). The Mystics, on the other hand, have won two of their last four games. They played the Aces on June 29 in Washington but lost 88-77.

Defending champions LA Aces have seen a steady ascent, winning their last five games to climb to fifth overall in the WNBA standings They head into the upcoming matchup on the back of an impressive 88-69 win against the visiting Indiana Fever on Tuesday. Guard Kelsey Plum roared back to form with a season-high 34 points.

The Aces are favorites to win on paper and will fancy their chances against a banged-up Mystics unit. Washington will be without center Shakira Austin and guard Brittney Sykes. Stefanie Dolson is questionable, while Karlie Samuelson continues to remain sidelined. The Aces will be without Tiffany Hayes, who at the time of writing is day-to-day.

Player to watch out for: A'ja Wilson

Aces forward A'ja Wilson has been on a tear this season. If the WNBA MVP voting was held today, she would have won unanimously. The 2x MVP has been consistent and a force for Las Vegas, averaging 26.9 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.9 steals, and 2.5 blocks this season.

Wilson is one of the favorites to win the honors and competing with her are Alyssa Thomas (Connecticut Sun), Breanna Stewart (New York Liberty), Jonquel Jones (New York Liberty), and Napheesa Collier (Minnesota Lynx).

At this rate, Wilson is well on her way to breaking Phoenix Mercury veteran Diana Taurasi's record of 25.3 points per game in a single season back in 2006. What does go against the forward though was the Las Vegas Aces wobbling early on in their campaign.

While the team has made the necessary course correction to stay in contention, Wilson will look to continue her dominant run that also puts the Las Vegas Aces in a position to defend their title for the third year in a row.
