WNBA rookie Caitlin Clark has continued to break, and set, viewership records throughout this season. After Clark and the Fever's Sept. 1 game against the Dallas Wings became the most-watched basketball game on NBA TV over the past year, Wednesday's Aces-Fever game marked another viewership record on NBA TV.

According to Sports Media Watch, Wednesday's game between the Las Vegas Aces and the Indiana Fever, which is the second to last meeting of the season for the two teams, averaged 678,000 viewers. This surpassed the 652,000 average viewers who tuned in to the Sept. 1 game between the Fever and the Wings.

Clark and the Indiana Fever now have two of the three most-viewed games on NBA TV over the past year.

The only NBA game over the past year to crack the top three was the Nov. 11 meeting between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors. That game averaged 645,000 viewers, making it the most-watched NBA game of the year on NBA TV.

WNBA and NBA fans were quick to react to the news, cracking jokes and discussing the 'Caitlin Clark effect' on the league.

"White jesus," one fan joked.
"White Shesus," another fan said.
"Caitlin Clark continues to be must see TV," one fan said.

Others weighed in on the record viewership drawn by Clark, and what it means for the postseason ahead.

"I can’t wait until the viewership records are broken when she plays in the playoffs!" one fan said.
"Record broker Caitlin Clark," another fan said.
"But some people are not sure what or who is contributing to the WNBA’s popularity this season," one fan said.

Looking at the remaining games on Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever's schedule

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever currently have three games left on their schedule. After Wednesday's game against the Las Vegas Aces, the two sides will play in one final regular season game on Friday, Sept. 13.

The game will see Clark and the Fever look to not only bounce back from Wednesday's 86-75 loss but also pick up their first win of the season against the defending champs after losing all three of their meetings this season.

Despite the success of the two team's Wednesday clash, the game won't be broadcast on NBA TV. Instead, the game will air on ION, which is available across the US. Although the game won't air on NBA TV, Friday's rematch is expected to be a hit.

The Fever will then be back in action on Sunday, Sept. 15 for a clash with the Dallas Wings, before a Sept. 19 meeting with the Washington Mystics to close out the regular season.
