Looking at Angel Reese and Maya Reese's new show, Unapologetically Angel
Angel Reese and Maya Reese's new show "Unapologetically Angel" will come out on Sep. 5, with new episodes released every Thursday. Given that the WNBA is still in-season, and Reese and the Chicago Sky are sitting within playoff contention, the expectation is that the show will be pre-recorded rather than live.
The show is expected to primarily revolve around Angel Reese who will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at her life. However, Reese shared in a video for her Instagram story this week that the show will also have several celebrities making guest appearances.
Reese specifically name-dropped rappers Meg Thee Stallion and Cardi B as two guests she planned to have on. The show will also notably be a part of Shaquille O'Neal's The Big Podcast Network given how close Reese and O'Neal are.
The two LSU alums have had a great relationship since Reese's NCAA days. O'Neal attended several Reese's games and even escorted Reese to LSU's senior day in May.
With the first episode of the highly-anticipated show on Sep. 5 nearing, Reese released a trailer for the show on X on Tuesday morning.
Reese and the Chicago Sky will return to action on Friday when they face the DC Mystics. The team will look to improve in the standings ahead of the WNBA playoffs.
