Fans have reignited the Caitlin Clark vs. Angel Reese debate, this time focusing on fashion, after the Chicago Sky rookie made a stunning appearance at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Reese wowed in a red, fishnet-style knitted dress, attending the event with her former Sky teammate Kysre Gondrezick.
Reese is no stranger to high-profile fashion events, having previously attended Louis Vuitton’s star-studded “Prelude to the Olympics” celebration in July, where she met icons like tennis legend Serena Williams, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, pop star Tyla and actress Zendaya.
However, following her appearance at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday, fans began debating who is more attractive — Reese or her rival Caitlin Clark. An X (formerly Twitter) user started a poll on Tuesday, asking:
“Who's hotter Angel or Caitlin?”
With nearly 444 votes so far, Reese leads the poll with over 82.9% of the votes. Several fans gushed over the Sky rookie's outfit:
“Women are beautiful,” one fan commented.
“Y'all can hate but she's gorgeous,” another said,
“She is literally Barbie,” another added.
One fan quoted Ice Spice lyrics, saying:
“She a baddie she know she a 10.”
“Angel Reese should’ve been up there modeling,” another said.
During the show, Reese also met several celebrities, including Queen Latifah and Cardi B.
WNBA’s best-dressed rookie isn’t Angel Reese or Caitlin Clark
Although Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark have both made headlines for their fashion choices throughout the WNBA season, neither took home the best-dressed rookie award.
According to SLAM Magazine’s LeagueFits, which honors the best-dressed athletes in basketball, the title went to Seattle Storm’s Nika Muhl.
Muhl, who had a standout career at UConn, was drafted 14th overall in the second round of the 2024 WNBA Draft.
Though she didn’t see much playing time with the Storm, Muhl made the most of her opportunities in the 2024 regular-season finale, scoring her first and only field goal. She posted a career-high two points, three assists, two rebounds and five field goal attempts in 14 minutes.
Recently, Muhl faced a setback, tearing her left ACL in her first game overseas.
In the third quarter of a game with Turkish team Besiktas, during the FIBA Women's Super Cup against Fenerbahce Opet, Muhl grabbed a loose ball but collapsed in pain, clutching her left knee. She was eventually taken off the court on a stretcher.
