According to Sara Jane Gamelli, Young is listed out for Monday's game. She reported that Natisha Hiedeman will be reassigned to the Laces and Alyssa Thomas will miss Monday's matchup. Laces BC played three games in its inaugural season, and Jackie Young hasn't debuted yet in the 3x3 basketball league.

According to Callie Fin from the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Young deals with a left knee injury that has kept her from donning a Laces jersey. The LV Aces star had a good run with her team last season. She played 37 games and averaged 15.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game.

Last season, she shot 43.7% from the field and 33.7% from the 3-point range. She was crucial to the Aces in earning a playoff spot. Even without Young, the Laces have pulled a 3-0 record in their first season.

Kate Martin shares her thoughts on Laces BC's dominant start and Jackie Young's absence

Laces BC is one of the only two teams in Unrivaled who have won all their matchups. They have come to deliver a dominant performance right from the start and have become a fan favorite.

After their 83–79 win against the Vinyl Basketball Club, Laces star Kate Martin attended a press conference to speak about her team's dominant performance and Jackie Young's absence.

"Jackie is obviously a missing piece of the puzzle and Jackie's game speaks for itself," Martin said. "We miss her out there, but she's got to do what's best for her, and she's just going to take it day-by-day."

Martin highlighted that the player's prior on their team is the key to their dominant performances. She also expressed her excitement at the thought of Young coming back:

"When we get Jack back, I don't even know! It's just really exciting, and it's good for us to get experience all together without her."

Martin played with Young in her rookie season at the LV Aces. However, Martin will play as a Golden State Valkyrie in the new WNBA season.
