Tonight, when Laces BC play their first game, Jackie Young will be watching from the sidelines. The Las Vegas Aces star, who logged 37 regular season games in the 2024 WNBA season, is reportedly dealing with a left knee injury, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal reporter Callie Fin.
So far, no further details have been given on how long Young will be out or how serious the knee injury she's been dealing with is.
As we saw heading into the opening weekend, Marina Mabrey suffered a calf injury that will sideline her for at least two weeks. Because of that, Phantom BC signed an additional player to fill her spot on the roster without leaving them down a player. They added Natisha Hiedeman as a "relief player."
If Young is sidelined for an extended period, Laces could follow suit and sign an additional player.
Looking at this weekend's Unrivaled schedule, as well as the matchup between Laces and Phantom BC after Jackie Young's injury
