Along with making a name for herself on the court, Angel Reese has also done a good job of growing her brand. She's partnered up with countless companies dating back to her time at LSU across a wide range of platforms. As she gets ready to start a new chapter in her career, Reese received a shout-out from an all-time great.

One of Reese's more recent partnerships is in the cereal world. The Chicago Sky forward can now be seen on boxes of Reese's Puffs. Among those to pick up a box is WNBA legend Sheryl Swoopes.

On Thursday, Swoopes posted a video on her Instagram story of her at the grocery store. She of course went to the cereal aisle to find a box with Angel Reese on the front. Following the five-dollar purchase, the Hall of Fame guard sent a small message to Reese.

"@angelreese5 I got mine!" Swoopes wrote.

Swoopes spent 13 seasons in the WNBA, playing for the Houston Comets, Seattle Storm and Tulsa Shock. Her resumé includes being a four-time champion, three-time MVP, two-time scoring champion and three-time Defensive Player of the Year.

After retiring in 2011, Swoopes went on to be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016. These days, she occasionally shares her thoughts on the WNBA as an analyst.

Sheryl Swoopes has always been a supporter of Angel Reese

Over the past year, Sheryl Swoopes has caught flack from fans regarding her comments downplaying Caitlin Clark. However, she's always been a big supporter of Angel Reese. Buying the cereal with her on the box is just the latest instance of her fandom.

Back in June, Swoopes was in the building to see Reese and Clark face off in the WNBA. The Chicago Sky would end up walking away with a one-point win, and their star rookie was a major catalyst. Reese put on one of her best performances of the season, posting 25 points and 16 rebounds.

Following this outing, Angel Reese linked up with Swoopes courtside. The two shared a long embrace after what was then her career-high performance.

While speaking with the media after the game, Reese provided some insight into the conversation her and Swoopes had in that moment.

"She said she's proud of me," Reese said. "She told me she believed in me."

A few weeks later, Reese would outdo this performance en route to setting a new career-high in points. In a win over the Seattle Storm, the ROY runner-up posted 27 points and 10 rebounds.

Currently, Reese is preparing to be a part of history. She was among the many women to ink a deal with Unrivaled and play in the first season of the brand new women's league.
