The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game will be celebrated amid a surge in popularity for the league. The competition has welcomed notable talents like Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Cameron Brink and Kamilla Cardoso, gaining more recognition from fans, who left a mark in this year's voting process.

The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game is a couple of days away and the league has picked a performer for their halftime show. American rapper and singer Pitbull, born Armando Christian Perez, will be the star of the show, the league announced today. It did not take long for fans to share their views on the news on social media.

"GRAMMY® AWARD-WINNING GLOBAL SUPERSTAR PITBULL TO HEADLINE AT HALFTIME DURING 2024 @ATT WNBA ALL-STAR GAME ⭐️," WNBA announced on X.

Plenty of fans reacted to this announcement with negative comments. Pitbull doesn't seem to be the favorite of fans and they made it very clear with their comments.

"Y’all went from Kehlani to grandpa real fast," a fan said.

Another person said that they would focus on getting food instead of watching the show.

"So I’m making a food run during halftime, gotcha," one fan said.

More fans wondered if Pitbull was the only artist available and threw shade at his career.

"He was the only person available?" one fan asked.
"NOBODY ELSE WAS AVAILABLE!!!!" another fan said.

However, not all fans were disappointed with Pitbull being picked as the star performer.

"Thanks Lauren for letting us know. I will definitely watch," one fan said.
