Angel Reese invited Complex "360 with Speedy" host Speedy Morman to her debut game in the "Unrivaled" league that starts next month in Miami. Morman appeared on the latest episode of Reese's podcast "Unapologetically Angel" on Thursday, Dec. 5.
In the later part of their conversation, the Chicago Sky star told Morman to come to her first game with the 3X3 league in January next year.
"You need to come to Unrivaled," Reese said. "It's in Miami, it's a new league.
"You got to come down there, there are 36 women, you guys can be the first baddies that sit courtside.[58:27]"
The on-camera host agreed to come to the game with his friends. This is not the first time that Speedy Morman and Angel Reese have held a mic together. Earlier, in November, Reese was a guest on Mormon's "360 With Speedy" show.
The "Unrivaled" league will start on January 17 and will be played for nine weeks, concluding on March 17, 2025. A total of 36 players will compete in the league, with each of the six teams having six players.Angel Reese poses with Rihanna at FNAA
Angel Reese has been enjoying her first offseason, making appearances at fashion shows, doing her podcast, appearing on shows and even attending NBA and NFL games. However, the standout moment for the Chicago Sky star came at the Footwear News Achievement Awards on Dec. 4 in New York City, where she had a chance to connect with pop star Rihanna.
In a series of posts that Reese posted on her social media handles, a few of the pictures that she posted were with the "Love on the Brain" singer. Reese and Rihanna posed with each other in black and white outfits, respectively.
While Reese decided to go classic with a black suit, the Barbadian singer donned a full-sleeved white gown dress. The Chicago Sky star also posed with American rapper Tobe Nwigwe.
Angel Reese also told Rihanna that she wanted to work with her and got a very positive reply from the singer.
Let's do it... I am always ready," she told Reese.
Reese has risen to become one of the biggest faces in fashion since joining the WNBA. The FNAA honored her with the Style Influencer of the Year award.
Angel Reese has been balancing her basketball routine with her non-basketball allegiances and interests. While she has been attending events outside basketball, she has been regularly putting in work with several basketball coaches with one-on-one training.
