WNBA fans roasted Caitlin Clark after she tried a bargain drink worth $3 with Indiana Fever teammate Lexie Hull. Clark not only has a four-year, $338,056 deal with the Fever but also an eight-year, $28 million contract with shoe company Nike.

In a video posted by Hull on TikTok, the teammates went to a Swig drive-thru to try their "dirty soda."

Clark ordered a Spring Fling with Vanilla Cream and Beach Wave, while Hull had a Raspberry Dream with Vanilla Cream and Summer Splash.

Here's a part of the teammates' conversation from the video:

"They're healthy, right?," Hull asked.
"No, but they are only $3. I love a bargain," Clark responded.

Clips of the video made their way to X, formerly known as Twitter, and fans couldn't believe Caitlin Clark was looking for a bargain despite her contract with the Indiana Fever and Nike.

"My love, you signed a 28 million dollar contract with Nike," a fan wrote.
"The money ain't changing her," one fan replied.
"I got a feeling CC is a bit frugal. She will have that $28 million when she is 85 years old!," another fan opined.

Apart from her contract with the Indiana Fever and sponsorship deal with Nike, Caitlin Clark also had an NIL deal worth around $3.1 million when she was with Iowa, as per Business Insider. Nevertheless, fans are impressed with Clark's apparent frugality despite the money she has earned in her young career.

"That's how rich people stay wealthy lol," a fan claimed.
"And living within those means and bargain shopping keeps her a millionaire long after she’s done playing the game," one fan commented.
"Iowans are practical and frugal. It will serve her well to be both," another fan remarked.

Since Caitlin Clark is the most popular women's basketball player in the world right now, it's natural to have sponsorship deals with companies. Clark has contracts with brands like State Farm, Gatorade, Hy-Vee, Wilson, Gainbridge, Xfinity, Buick, H&R Block, Topps, Bose and Panini America.

Caitlin Clark explains why she's not playing overseas this offseason

Most WNBA players go overseas following the season to earn extra money rather than sit around at home for seven months. However, Caitlin Clark will stay at home and enjoy being out of the spotlight.

"It's going to be nice, I think," Clark said, according to the IndyStar. "Getting out of the spotlight and just getting to live my life and do things that I want to do."

Clark might be staying in Indianapolis, but she's scheduled to appear in Florida next month to participate in an LPGA pro-am at The Annika, as reported by The Associated Press.
