Rae Burrell is a 6 feet 2 inches tall professional American basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Sparks in the WNBA. Born on June 21, 2000, in Las Vegas, Nevada, she also plays for the Vinyl Basketball Club in the inaugural 2025 season of Unrivaled, the women’s 3x3 basketball league. Burrell was drafted with the ninth overall pick by the Sparks in the first round of the 2022 WNBA draft. As per Basketball Reference, Rae Burrell appeared in only three games for the Sparks in her rookie season. In the 2023 WNBA season, Burrell played 29 games, averaging 3.6 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game. Then in the 2024 WNBA season, She appeared in 37 games in her 2024 WNBA season and scored 220 points, while grabbing 68 total rebounds.

Before WNBA, Rae Burrell played for Liberty High School in Henderson, Nevada where she was named the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Nevada Preps Female Athlete of the Year in 2018. Burrell also had a successful college career for the Tennessee Lady Volunteers from 2018 to 2022 where she played a total of 110 games and scored 1131 points and grabbed 438 rebounds. Burrell completed her college degree in communication studies in May 2022.
